When NC (DSTV)-files are exported from a 3D CAD-system it is often desirable to have a 3D view, check and control of the position graphically. This is possible with HGG ProCAM Lite’s DSTV Viewer.

The viewer allows manufacturers of steel structures to have a good communication tool between design and production, to verify the exact content. The different positions can be checked on screen and are shown graphically with all their properties such as holes, cutting angles etc.

A unique feature of the HGG DSTV viewer is, besides the fact that it is free, the new feature called ‘Scribing’. This feature allows users to view the positions of welded parts on the main parts.

HGG’s ProCAM Lite enables you to perform the final production data check without the need for a machine and purchase of viewing software. HGG ProCAM Lite consists of:

• DSTV Viewer – for beams, square tubes and angle profiles
• PCD Viewer – for pipes

This unique software tool developed by HGG the developers of the .XML .PCD file format, this allows you to view any .DSTV, .NC, .XML or .PCD file. Even without the use of a machine you can easily perform a final production data check on your files before it’s being cut. All parameters and weld details, such as root opening and markings, can be viewed in HGG’s ProCAM Lite.
