Seamless Handling of Pipe and Box-Sections
The APEX is the only machine available in the market place capable of cutting both pipes (CHS) and box sections (SHS/RHS) in one flawless operation. Thanks to HGG’s patented 360-degree rotational robot, it handles hollow sections effortlessly. Whether it’s complex cuts, with or without bevels, the APEX has you covered. Before cutting begins, a quick yet thorough 3D laser scan is performed to ensure all material deviations are accounted for. Laser Measurement for Extreme Accurate Cuts

Synchronized Gripper Movements Minimizing Loading Delay
The APEX is designed to optimize productivity and minimize time wastage through efficient combined movements. As such, the Gripper retracts vertically while returning to its starting position. Simultaneously, the machine loads new material onto the infeed conveyor. This setup ensures that as soon as the Gripper returns, it can immediately clamp onto the new material, allowing the process to continue without delay.
Fume Extraction, Reinvented for Hollow Section Cutting
Fume extraction during the cutting of hollow sections can be challenging. APEX addresses with our innovative gripper design. While the cutting cell efficiently captures the majority of fumes, we’ve taken it a step further by integrating a dedicated extraction point directly at the gripper. Ensuring a cleaner operation, improved air quality and a safer working environment.
