Tekla User Days 2019 for the Middle East were held in Dammam, KSA and Dubai, UAE. The main goal was to bring Tekla users and industry specialists together under one roof. Tekla offered their users a wide variety of presentations on the latest version, new features, workshops and training sessions. HGG joined hands with Tekla to present the latest fabrication technological trends to their customers.
Mr. Anil Kumar Gaddameedi, General manager of HGG for the Middle East, gave a presentation about automated beam cutting technologies as well as specific innovations used on HGG’s RPC beam cutting machine. RPC 1200 is an entire fabrication shop in a single machine.
Years ago, HGG joined forces with Tekla – now known as Trimble – in the development of an open file format for tubulars. This format allows a seamless integration from designing and detailing to actual 3D profiling of the tubulars and beams in the workshop.
During the technology presentation, Mr. Anil Kumar Gaddameedi explained how this strong partnership between HGG and Tekla is beneficial for the customer.
In this link (LinkedIn) you find a small interview with our General manager about the long-term coorporation.
This movie shows you how to model beams inside Tekla and how to correctly export them to HGG’s Beam Cutting Machine RPC 1200.
